IPOC's efforts towards SDGs
取り組み内容
IPOC was founded with the goal of achieving a system that does not require reconstruction, with the assumption of long-term use of various types of systems. In conventional application systems, version upgrades were difficult, and reconstruction was necessary every 10 to 20 years. During that time, large-scale system improvements could not be made, and this became an obstacle to sustainable business. To solve this problem, IPOC aims to contribute to SDG Goal 9, “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure,” with an innovative and flexible system approach.
IPOC believes that achieving a completely paperless system by eliminating documents such as system requirements definitions and manuals contributes to SDG Goal 12, “Responsible Consumption and Production,” and SDG Goal 15, “Life on Land.” In the past, many IT systems required specialized knowledge, creating a gap between system users and developers and negatively impacting SDG Goal 4, “Quality Education,” as the quality of the system relied on the skills of the developers. To address this issue, IPOC aims to develop a system that is available to everyone, anywhere, and can be used by anyone, promoting SDG Goal 17, “Partnerships for the Goals,” and allowing competent personnel from various companies to work towards building new industries.
IPOC aims to achieve a clean and efficient system by significantly reducing the time required for investigation, testing, and creating documentation for system maintenance that is cumbersome and time-consuming, allowing this time to be spent on creative work and contributing to SDG Goal 8, “Decent Work and Economic Growth,” and SDG Goal 7, “Affordable and Clean Energy.” IPOC recognizes the importance of social responsibility and aims to contribute to the local community, including SDG Goal 11, “Sustainable Cities and Communities,” and SDG Goal 3, “Good Health and Well-being,” by actively cooperating with local governments and promoting field-led development.
